I have smeserver-git and smeserver-fail2ban installed. I whitelisted an IP
address that was getting banned after using github for windows. After it was
removed from the recidive list, I had the person try again to connect. He got
banned again.
Disabled Fail2Ban and had him try and it went through just fine. Could connect
to the repo and push any changes.
It was my understanding that it an IP address was whitelisted, the connection
would not be blocked again. This is not the case.
