I had akmod-xtables-addons-3.25-4.el8.sme.x86_64 installed, but still got
# akmods
Checking kmods exist for 4.18.0-553.126.1.el8_10.x86_64 [ OK ]
Files needed for building modules against kernel
4.18.0-553.126.1.el8_10.x86_64 could not be found as the following
directories are missing:
/usr/src/kernels/4.18.0-553.126.1.el8_10.x86_64/
/lib/modules/4.18.0-553.126.1.el8_10.x86_64/build/Is the correct kernel-devel
package installed?
# modprobe xt_geoip
modprobe: FATAL: Module xt_geoip-kmod not found in directory
/lib/devel/4.18.0-553.126.1.el8_10.x86_64
Only after I installed kmod-xtables-addons-3.25-4.el8.sme.x86_64.rpm and its
dependency
kmod-xtables-addons-4.18.0-553.el8_10.x86_64-3.25-4.el8.sme.x86_64.rpm
I managed to run
# akmods
# weak-modules --add-kernel
# modprobe xt_geoip
without error and the red warning in XT_geoip SM2 panel disappeared.
