Hello everyone, I realized that it is not general knowledge that aside from ReadTransaction.read(InstanceIdentifier), there also is an operation to check for a particular node's existence.
This operation has been available at the DOM layer since Helium, but somehow it ended up not being exposed from Binding ... sorry :( It has been exposed since Oxygen SR4 and is documented here: https://static.javadoc.io/org.opendaylight.controller/sal-binding-api/1.7.4/org/opendaylight/controller/md/sal/binding/api/ReadTransaction.html#exists-org.opendaylight.controller.md.sal.common.api.data.LogicalDatastoreType-org.opendaylight.yangtools.yang.binding.InstanceIdentifier- Regards, Robert
