Attached is a "rough" draft of positions needed. (outline taken from an
internet source...some of the verbiage was in keeping with what we are
doing, so it's still in the body of text). If you think of more jobs,
just jot them down. I'll come up with an excel sheet to log the jobs
and parties interested.

I'm now Dealer Head, Troy is really the Secretary, and the event name is Linucon. ^^ Just glanced briefly at it.

**Now to get someone interested in helping. What are we offering them?
Besides the T-shirt and some snacks from the Con. Suite.

Possible comp on their membership.

On a related side note I just wanted to mention this..

*One of the Penguicon members came up with an excellent point, when I
was discussing volenteering at one of their meetings. She gave me
plenty of options for helping, that would also maximize my day at the
convention, since I still would be a paying guest. I think this is a
great idea to discuss with potential helpers assigned to you, when we
start locking them into positions.

Also we should keep in mind the people we are using, and the things
that drew them to the con in the first place. This is just an fyi that
we'll be cutting into their con time when they are helping us, so until
the programming is done you might gain or loose the helpers you need.

Hopefully they will have so much fun doing it this year, that they will
want to come back...maybe even bring a friend or two.

We could even have a Margarita Madness hour... Saw it on another site
for a convention.

Serving alcohol at the convention "officially" is...painful. Just the legalities. While I was at ConDFW, I was basically the youngest person there, and Rob was still young as well. They had alcohol out the wazoo in the con suite...now at A-Kon/AnimeFest/AggieCon/UshiCon, much younger con-goers...yes, there still exists folks under 21. Heh.

Liked this ADOBE volunteer sign up form, maybe our version can be
attached to the volunteer link. The paper trail will help create a
placement board.
