You might also want to take a look at the e-smith gateway-firewall
product as well as the Mandrake one. I found that the e-smith one was
better configured "out of the box".
It doesn't have squidGuard installed with the distribution, but it has
RPMs available for download. It also has DNS configured with its
distribution, which all the machines in
my home network point to. I had to edit a couple of ipchains
statements to keep things "invisible" to the internet side, since my
cable ISP doesn't allow "servers", but
cooker-firewall had some of the same flaws.

Thanks for your reply Jim,
I'm currently downloading the iso as I type! I had checked out
e-smith previously but there was (and still is) no internal ISDN
support although someone has now posted a howto. As for editing
ipchains... Arghh!
