I've been looking for a math coprocessor for my 386 for some time. I've
bought two on EBay, but they pin outs don't match my Dell motherboard.
Anyone have any ideas?

Hello there,

we have answered several times at this question. Thes kernels in the SNF
were
not compiled with the math co-processor emulation. This would have
implied
too big floppy images for the boot process.

We have started to compile several packages for a 486 but stopped the
process at some stage because of the above reasons.

One can install the SNF even on a 386 with a math co-processor.

Maybe this is not the answer you were looking for ...

One of Mandrake policies is to compile all the packages with Pentium
optimisations.

sincerely,
