I went and grabbed the ISOs for Mandrake PPC and found that on my Summer
2000 iMac DV (slot loading), the boot didn't work. I grabbed the
testboot4.iso and the boot worked there - but I wasn't able to complete
the install because DiskDrake seemed to be having a conniption fit that
I didn't have a 1MB bootstrap partition (at least that's what the
message says). I have YDL 1.2 installed currently, alongside MacOS9.1 -
and they're both running pretty happily, so I was a bit surprised that I
couldn't simply install Mandrake over YDL. I'll look into the
partitioning scheme that you put down in the beta install guide and see
if I can comply (w/o wiping out my OS 9.1 partition!)

Sincerely,
Brice Ruth
