Stew,
I ran this kernel and had the same results as I had mentioned earlier using
the benh kernel. No exit X problem at all, fast, runs good.... but no modem.
Even after running the control center it says it can not open modem.
During the boot process I did note some problems that seem to be only related
to the lack of a System.map.
