Dear all,

I was trying to install mandrake onto a G4 powerbook. I downloaded the iso
images to an ext2 partition and the boot files to and HFS partition, booted
up using yaboot and started the installation process. When I was asked for
the location of the installation files or iso, I gave the path to the
*FIRST* iso image (so it's something like
/mandrake-install/Mandrake-8.0-beta1-cd1.ppc.iso). Everthing seems to work,
apart that in the end of the unpacking process, certain packages could not
be installed (fonts-ttf-decoratives and some more). So the program went
back to the package selection step, then again it was not able to install
the same packages and everything repeated.

I experienced the similar problem when installing mandrake onto a i386 PC
(ie few packages cannot be installed), apart that the installation process
passed the loop and ended. I wonder whether the problem is caused by that I
was installing from iso image and those packages are available on the
second cd. Is there anyway to specify *BOTH* iso images to the install
program?

Regards,
Thanh
