That's possible Ben. I try to set flags when the bootstrap is created and
whether it needs to be formatted (ie: new bootstrap), but there may be a
breakdown somewhere in the code. I've built up a new install image here
and will look at that again, as well as the bootstrap "looping" someone
else mentioned.
The best results are accomplished by just starting out with Apple_Free
space at the end of the drive, and letting the installer create the
bootstrap in the first block of available space.
