To All:
I have made several attempts to install MandrakePPC 8.0 RC1 via the Install
from HD option (can't burn iso images). Everything seems to work perfectly
until the process is well into the RPM installation. At some point, every
additional package produces a "problem installing RPM" error message. I
have verified the md5 check sums for both iso images and I have plenty of
disk space available for the installation. More details of my install
process are below. Does anyone have ideas of what my (install) problem
might be?

System: PowerMac G4 (AGP)
1) Download *inst*.iso, *ext*.iso via MacOS and binary FTP. (/dev/hda9)
2) Boot (YellowDog) Linux. Make new ext2 partition. (/dev/hda11, 2G)
3) Mount partition. Copy isos from Mac partition. Vfy md5sum. OK.
4) Mount inst*.iso and copy boot files to MacOS System Folder.
5) Reboot via open firmware. Start install-aty128 GUI. OK.
6) Choose install from HD. Point to MandrakePPC-8.0rc1-1-inst.ppc.iso.
7) Enter stage 2 of installation. OK.
8) Format /dev/hda10 (2.5G) (Old YellowDog). Set mount point to /.
9) Don't use/set mount point for /dev/hda11 (location of mounted isos).
10) Set up swap (256M) and Boot Strap(20M). OK.
11) Choose packages to install. Starts installation. Installs RPMs for
some time then problem occurs. Could it be that the problematic
RPMs (mostly *devel*) are all located on the second iso and the
installer doesn't know how to mount the second disk during RPM installs?
