Hi David,

could it be that you did not started the keytable daemon ?

Look into "drakxservices" if it is started !

Also you can configure the keyboard in the Mandrake Control Center !

After my first installation on my iBook 2001, I had a keytable problem, 
too, what I could not solve. So I reinstalled the thing - using 
"Aktualisieren" instead of "Installieren" - and the keytable worked.
