i'm pretty sure that you need  to burn the iso to the cd in order for it to 
work. if you don't have access to a burner you might have to explore other 
ways of installing linux on your computer. there is a way to do a network 
install(not sure how but maybe someone here could help) or you could 
purchase the cd or have a friend burn it ;)
