Sorry if this has been asked before... I'm not new to Linux (or even Mandrake!) but can't seem to get my new computer, an iMac 500Mhz, which is my first PPC, to boot into Mandrake 8.2beta. Everything installed correctly. I followed the instructions as to modify open firmware, with no luck. What I get is, computer turns on, white screen, then folder with "?" in it, then a happy mac (with an unhappy user) and boot into Mac OS X. I've got it to boot using the SuSE installation disk (a useless distribution for PPC if you ask me) but since the kernels don't match nothing really works. Help! I'm putting myself through this because, basically, I like to follow KDE development, I need OpenOffice, and of course, there's no cdparanoia for the Mac!
Erik
