Another comment (okay, I'm pushing it today...)

I don't really know why you decided to use PC keyboard maps for 8.2 - 
probably a lot of users will use MacOS as well as Linux, and I think 
it's kind of awkward to have to get used to different keyboard maps in 
between sessions. Anyhow, at least there should be an easy option, 
either in the installer or in the Control Center, to change to a Mac 
keyboard map. If that is not possible, I think lots of people will be 
less than happy with an OS where you the keyboard layout doesn't match 
the keyboard and CDs can only be inserted by tiping command lines in the 
console.
