Try 'modprobe printer' - this should load the printer module. I've noticed this, too. If you bring up a terminal window and type "mozilla &" it will launch mozilla just fine. Or if you right click on the KDE desktop and select the 'Run' option, and type in mozilla, it will launch it. Looks like the KDE menu's link to mozilla as bad, since this also happens in GNOME.
