I've downloaded and installed David Baudens' XFree86 packages from: https://qa.mandrakesoft.com/~baudens/ppc/
which nicely fix the DRI issues. However, installing them seems to cause a problem with certain fonts in X. In particular I have noticed that some fonts in my web browsers are stretchedout vertically, or otherwise messed up. Has anyone else seen this?
