Completely unsupported and based on some (relatively) older KDE3
packages from cooker, but they're in unsupported/8.2/ppc/kde3 on the
FTP mirrors (should be on most by now I suspect).

I'll only say that they work, for the most part, for me. Some things
youo may have to remove are kvirc and ktelnet, I still can't get
koffice to build either. You *might* have to remove qt2 before
putting qt3 in, everything else should be a standard upgrade. There
are some other packages in there that may not be needed to run kde3,
but needed to build some of the packages.

Hope some of you find it useful. I have to admit, I've been a GNOME
fan for a very long time (and currently use Enlightenment on my x86
workstation), but on my ibook I just use KDE3 with mosfet's liquid
stuff, the Conectiva crystal icons, and an Angelina Jolie splash
screen/kdelogo/background and I must admit, it is *sweet*.

As an aside, when 9.0 comes out, I'll probably rebuild all of the
KDE3 stuff again for 8.2 as I suspect there will be some bugfixes and
enhancements in the next 2 months.
