On the old 2.2.X kernel machine I use i82365: bash-2.03$ cat /etc/sysconfig/pcmcia PCMCIA=yes PCIC=i82365 #PCIC_OPTS="irq_mode=1 fast_pci=1 pci_csc=1 poll_interval=100 do_scan=0 irq_list=4" PCIC_OPTS="irq_mode=1 fast_pci=1 do_scan=0 irq_list=3,4,5" CORE_OPTS= CARDMGR_OPTS= Yenta_socket is the new pcmcia driver, which I use on the powerbook, but so far neither one wants to load on the RS6000. Harald, does pcmcia_core and either i82365 or yenta_socket, as well as ds load on your machine?
