Hmm.. looking at my config it's not there anymore either. I switch network configurations alot, so it must have been taken out by the config tools (and not really needed). Try this as root: adsl-stop adsl-connect Post the output of adsl-connect. It shows a fairly verbose log of what it is trying to do. It might not release the terminal when it's done (I know it doesn't when it actually connects) so you might have to do a ctl-c to get out of it. rob
