Can't duplicate the problem here...
Are you sure you changed every "8101" to "8103"? You need to change all the directives:
Listen 8103
NameVirtualHost xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8103
<VirtualHost xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8103>
Port 8103
If one of these directives is missing, it won't work.
