Several rpm packages use %lang tags for catalog files; that means those
fiels are installed *ONLY* if you have that/those languages defined in
LINGUAS variable when you call rpm.
That is, if you install in english, you lost all catalaog files.

I asked pixel if it would be possible to add a special step to choose
support for several languages (or maybe just to install all catalog files).

Not all those lines are for translations; that is the most annoying: 
everything is mixed :-\
And also some strings are repeated a lot of times...
