Yes, exactly what I said: Now we've got jikes in Mandrake. :-)

Jikes will compile java stuff. Now I want to run java stuff.
Perhaps not byte-compiled java stuff. So I need a java runtime
environment. IBM published one some time ago, which is supposed
to be three times faster then the one from blackdown.org.
(opening freshmeat now, finding jdk, cutting and pasting...)
