Well, why can't you distribute without source anyway? I mean,
you don't deliver source for Netscape, do you. (And I am sure
there are other ones, xv?)
Hmm, not-so-free packages in Cooker, about 40?
[root@gloomy RPMS]# rpm -qpi * | grep License | grep -Evi
"(gpl|gnu|free|distributable|public|bsd|mit)" | wc -l
40
Clearly not free packages:
[root@gloomy RPMS]# rpm -qpi * | grep License | grep -Ei
"(shareware|commercial|qpl)" |wc -l
7
(Ok, not sure about the 3 QPL ones... ;-)
Kai.
P.S.
I couldn't connect to the IBM site to look for the JVM, but
the license too much different from the also not GPL jikes?
[root@gloomy RPMS]# rpm -qpi jikes-1.06-1mdk.i586.rpm |grep License
Size : 2624239 License: IBM Public License
Version 1.0 - Jikes Compiler,
http://ibm.com/research/jikes/license/license3.htm
Oh, but I don't want to annoy you. :-) It's personally not *that*
urgent, after all... I am clearly able to download myself. ;-)
