I read the specs about kernel-secure, but I would like to learn a bit
more
I noticed is the first release of it... I always like to test security
in many systems...
like playing with nmap, nessus, iptraf nc etc etc.. too many to mention
all of them
so I am interested in everything that represents a better security over
standard installations.
what is the main difference in kernel-secure, just a few patches? added
the new ip-filters.. or what?
I know that soon ipchains will be replaced for the new squeme ipfilter
and nat?
(once again I have to learn how to set up my firewall rules right ;-) )
besides a couple of side notes... I have been using msec and I like the
idea of
extra-securing some folders and files....
Finally I got ppp working at boot time again! (I am so
happy!)
when trying to install some additional packages sometimes I got:
package applnk not listed in file index (?) not in deplist or
compssList ?
still getting the KFM Warning:
could not execute program
/usr/bin/hwiz (Axalon)
Ohh my god, this looking prettier every day!
I like the new look of DrakX great Pixel!
