This is getting very interesting. this was an install from cdrom had to
buy the 80 minute kind to burn the cd though.
1) The install is looking better all the time
2) The printer (epson 440) works now but still doesn't print the page
during install. instead it prints during boot the first time the system
is booted after install.
3) The modem install didn't work quite so nice this time and the crypto
packages could not be downloaded during install. I just created an
rc.serial and rebooted wich fixed the modem. It used to find it
automaticaly though.
4) hwiz or whatever didn't install so I just installed the package
myself wich fixed the hwiz errors.
5) For some reason sndconfig didn't install either.
6) the last two are pretty amazing since I install about 1.3 gigs of
packages just to see how it would do.
7) I like the new crypto download option maybe it will work better as
soon as i get a cable modem.
