I installed oxygen on an Intel 440BX server board. This has all the peripherals onboard. I was amazed how easy everything went. Did an FTP install in less than 20 minutes. It detected my Symbios SCSI card, Intel 82557 network card, and the CLGD5480 video card. With 6.1, I had to tweak X settings, because I had garbage on my monitor, screen was not centered, etc. With 7.0, I did not set anything! The GUI install is the best of its class. I was showing 6.1 to a big customer last week, he liked it, but I had negative comments about having to mount/umount the CD all the time, not being able to change the X resolution easily, and keyboard mpping problems (French Canadian keyboard). Everything is fixed in Oxygen! I can't believe it! Right now, I am burning the ISO image, and I will install it later on an IBM Thinkpad, where I pulled my hair configuring X and soundcard.
