Hello,
I am begining to try out the new beta. I have found a bug or a problem during
the install. I will get to that in a second. However it says check to see that
the bug was not already reported. I might be missing something but I can not
find an archive anywhere of cooker. How can I find out if a bug has already
been reported?
My bug is pretty big. I am trying to install 7.0 beta on a Toshiba Extensa
laptop with 16 megs of ram (reported at boot)
The cd boots up and enters the second stage install and then the cursor just
blinks.
alt f3 reveals that MeMtotal=14640 (why is this not 16mgs?)
then it enters the second stage of the install and enables extra log messages
then it says switching to newt install cuz not enough memory
running rmmod vfat, msdos, fat
alt f7 says
module msdos not loaded
This is all I can tell from my install. I am using the oxygen-2.iso md5 verified
