I had posted before about my Soundblaster Live card in Oxygen and it
was quite easy. I just made an entry into my /etc/config.modules and
gave the modprobe command, rebooted and it works.
I still can't get my scrollwheel on my Logitech to work. It did in 6.1
no problem! What's different here? I love my scrollwheel!
I know this is a long shot but I have the Soundblaster Live Platinum
that has an excellent daughtercard that fits in a drive bay with
headphone outputs, midi and microphone inputs and even yet another spdif
in and spdif out pair of jacks. It doesn't work in Win2k yet either and
I had Win98SE in this machine briefly on my Win hard drive and it worked
with those drivers but the machine was unstable enough that I quickly
formatted that drive and installed Win2k RC2 on that part. I wonder if
there are any additional modules that could support this daughter card.
By the way, yes! Win2k in that stage of development crashes a bit. More
so than this Beta of Oxygen. In fact, I've only had the Xserver crash,
not the rest of the system.
Well, I hope I can get my scrollwheel back!
