It doesn't surprise me that you'd have a problem with an HP 720.  The HP 720
is to Printers as WinModems are to Modems.  There is a little bit of
information on them in the Hardware-HOWTO, but for the most part, they are
unsupported, and from what I've heard from HP, they will continue to be
unsupported.  Sorry to break the bad news to you, I'm stuck in the same
boat.

As for the HP 882, check HP's website and see if you can hook a JetDirect
box up to it.  If you can, it should work.  If you can't, it falls in the
same category as the HP 720.
