Ok I did a re-upgrade and it screwed everything up again. Basically I
am doing an upgrade from Oxygen to Oxygen at this point. Before it was from
Mandrake 6.1 to Oxygen but it does the same thing. When it asks me about
networking I select keep current ip configuration. However it is not doing
this. It changes my hostname to localhost.localdomain. It also adds the file
'ifcfg-' (with nothing after the '-') which causes linuxconf to segfault If I
try to run the net configuration utility. My question is, if you tell it to
keep current settings, why is it messing around with them at all?
