Dadou changes haven't broke nothing. It's not a (very, very) little
patch for pidof's path which will produce this sort of bug.
netscape-*4.70-6mdk work perfectly here (like when I have tested it).

What web sites?
What DM/WM (and what version)?
What happens when: $ mv .netscape netscape-old
$ netscape
Are permissions corrects?
What is result of: $ rpm --checksig netscape*
