I was aware of several PPPoE implementations, but your link points to a
good review.

I don't think we'll have time to implement a kernel-based PPPoE solution
for Mandrake 7, as we're in feature freeze right now. 

PPPoE will be included in the 2.4 kernel. Until then, the compromise would
be a user-space solution. 

Anyone tried the one from: http://www.roaringpenguin.com/pppoe.html ?
