first, grab an ftp client and connect to the site "IN Binary Mode" (should be
in the site connection properties, if you don't, the file mystically doesn't
work).
After you d/l, click on the iso image and (if you have adaptec's Easy CD
Creator installed) should start with the burn process. First, it (adaptec's cd
creator) will ask several questions on how you want it burned.
Seem to be the most problems i get here are with waiting for it to d/l instead
of the actual burn.
The iso is in a bootable format so the cdrom (once inserted and computer
reboots) should boot the cd.
If it doesn't (i've got a scsi which isn't bootable), you'll need to make a
diskette (after the cdrom image is burned).
find the dos utilities dir and run:
rawrite
and choose the cdrom.img (or similar name) from within the "images" directory.
instructions on the
in dos: rawrite (x:\images\cdrom.img) (choose your a or b floppy drive
if in linux: dd if=cdrom.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=1440k
should be in one of he readme's (bs is the size of the floppy, not really
needed). there are several different images, you can also choose hd.img
(hdd) and network.img (install from ftp/http). along with others
