who can try playing with --short-circuit.
stock rpm from RedHat allow:
rpm -bc --short-circuit
rpm -bi --short-circuit
we (well i:) have added:
rpm -ba --short-circuit
the short-circuit's purpose is for spec building, but it can helps ;-)
