I just started xcdroast and all the sg and ide-scsi modules were already loaded. A copy of the Cooker CD I purchased from CheapBytes (slightyly pre-7.0) did not. You do have to go back however, and move the /dev/cdrom link if you want your CD players, etc. to work correctly. The latest image also discovered and configured my ATI Rage 128 and Sound Blaster Live card. Which the CheapBytes image did not. I personally want to complement the Mandrake developers. I was somewhat impressed that I didn't have to manually config this stuff or rebuild a kernel for my hardware.
