I read with interest that some people cannot get XF86 to work at all !
I am using XFree86 3.3.5-17 and it all works fine.
I went up to 3.3.6-4mdk and then to 3.3.6-10mdk. I soon went back to 3.3.5-17.
3.3.6 appears to be a large step backwords ! KDE will not start KFM or Kpanel
and no window manager will display true type fonts at all. It is so bad that
even xfstt cannot display true type fonts.
On exiting X all I can see disappearing of the top of the screen is something
like : QFont::setPointSize() size < 0 (0)
I have installed qt2, but it's no better.
Please help !!!
