thanx for the info/help.

trying to get both my computers configured as 192.168.0.1/ & .2 up and running
while keeping their individual ip numbers for cable network address.  keep
getting problems where one works and the other doesnt' and vice-versa...pain in
the but using an ethernet hub and 2 nic cards.  don't have enough irq's for
another nic card on each tho'

i'll do alittle research with the info you gave.
