I've never gotten an LS-120 to successfully boot anything other than DOS. 
However, if you make a DOS bootable LS-120, you can then install ZipSlack on
it.  Makes a fine rescue disk, although it boots *slow*.  ZipSlack can be
downloaded from Slackware's site, it's about 36 MB.
