You know, when you mentioned patching the so-file I figured that
binary patching is always fun. So I did. It worked! What I did is
extremely simple. I just looked for libc - the string is only there
once. It says "libc.so.5". I changed it to "libc.so.6", saved and
that's it - everything now works.
Thanks for giving me the idea. I don't know what the license is on
acrobat and whether distributing a binary patched version would be ok.
