Binary patching is always deprecated but it the only way here, as adobe doesn't
released a libc6 linked version of AR. C'mon Adobe! The way you listed, is exactly what
we did to patch for our AReader RPM, the "fine" things is this:

echo -n 'libc.so.6 > acropatch.bin
dd if=acropatch.bin of=nppdf.so bs=1 count=9 seek=8618 conv=notrunc
