(1) appwatch does not have as many announcements as freshmeat, but you could
tell people to look there too.
(2) should the hackX naming scheme be covered?
(3) you include the pgp in .rpmmacros, but it's never required since you
only told people to do rpm -ba package.spec
either you can tell them to do rpm -ba --sign package.spec or tell them to
do --addsign afterwards.
btw, you could consider adding --clean to the arg given twhen building the
package.
