After stabilizing a 7.0/Cooker I continued to
rpm -Uvh rpms with an occasional --force
everything seemed to be going well and
my newly installed pci ATI A-in-W Pro was
recognized with no probs. However at some
point I rebooted and am now frozen out :(
The boot up script gets to
'INIT: version 2.78 booting'
'Enter runlevel:' <here it stops>
I try entering runlevel 3 or 5 and get
'INIT:no more processes left in this runlevel'
It freezes....
ctr-alt-del does nothing.
I must cold boot... to the same prob.
What the heck did I do THIS time !!!???
My "clueless assumption" is I --force -Uvh the wrong
rpm without including something else.
I tried a 7.0 "upgrade" from Cdrom to shake
something loose but got the same result.
