I did this on 7.0
(this is off the top of my head, details are fuzzy)
You need to untar the tar file (rpm does not work.
if you read the README, it says to do something like
make SYSINCLUDE=/usr/src/linux/include
do that, with the SYSINCLUDE= to the above
edit the install.sh file, and comment out the section that does the "make"
then run the install.sh file
