A friend of mine burn the ISO of the 7.1 beta! I can not get it
installed. I tried to install it under Windows by click on the Linux
for Windows button and it shuts down Windows and goes to the Mandrake
installer quite nicely! For some reason the installer does not want to
see my hard drive. My hard drive is an ultra 66 drive. I have tried
using the provided cdrom.img and the lastest one of one of the mirrors.
They both failed to read my cdrom drive. Any suggestions fellas?
I recently installed this ultra 66 drive, and it is possible that the
bios forced it as a primary master drive. Would this conflict with
Linux, yet not with Windows 98?
