Anyone got any ideas on this? This is still a problem for me. I have to
'su' and run 'esd' before I get any sound. I'd rather not have esd
running as root. Part of this problem may be because I have /home on
another partition, from which I do the install. After the install I
remount this partition as /home ...(I install from the same hd partition
as the install is run from).
