Just did another install and finally got around to setting up sound
with the alsa packages. Only problem I ran into was that I had to also install
the alsa source package in order to run the snddevices script (to create all
the alsa specific devices). Shouldn't this script be installed and run by the
main alsa package? It doesn't seem like the modules alone would do much good
without the device files.
Minor thing, I know. Probably too late for 7.1, but I thought I'd
mention it.
