Which means there is a fix and that fix has already been applied by texstar. A window pops up showing the files in $HOME directory. The directory keeps on refreshing until the ESC key is pressed. And all the while it creates hundreds of empty files named .fonts.cache-1.TMP-* . If the reload button is pressed the empty file creation starts all over again.
