------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-10 11:20 ------- Still valid for ML9.1 RC2 steps to reproduce: Old behaviour: right-drag a folder/item from a nautilus window to the desktop. select "Create shorcut/luncher" (or whatever the name was). and it worked. Now: right click is not possible. alternate method is to create right-click and select "create link" but this does not work for windows filesystems (FAT32, NTFS). ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: NEW creation_date: description: It is no longer possible to create launchers for a FAT32 file or folder. In MDK9.0 it used to be possible to right-drag a folder to the desktop and choose to create a link/launcher. Now it is no longer possible, and trying to create a link fails (after all, it's FAT32, no links here). Workaround: copy the home folder in desktop and modify.
