It works, you need to uncheck box "Assign host name from DHCP address" first.
And secondly you need to reboot in order to get a new correctly initialized X
session as changing hostname on the fly cause X connection error.

drakconnect displays the hostname on it's initial screen but offers no
possibility to change it.
>From the wizard, a hostname may be chosen, but that is added as DHCP hostname
delivered for that interface to a dhcp server (added in
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-*).
This is actually correct behavior, since this is considered to be the interface
name.
But the hostname should be changeable as well, probably on the main screen with
a button close to the place where the hostname is displayed.
Maybe the interface name in the wizard should default to the hostname.
